Always On Display

The massive change and an exciting one Apple did in their Apple watch series 5 is the New Always On Display. With the new Always-On Retina display, you always see the time and your watch face Meaning, the screen of the watch will always be on without having to tap the screen or raise the wrist.
The Apple Watch Series 5 uses an LTPO (Low-Temperature Polysilicon and oxide) Retina Display. Essentially, LTPO can control the display’s refresh rate. That means, if there isn’t the need to update the display, it won’t, thus power saving. So when your wrist is at rest, the screen light dims and you can still see the time without people noticing it. Apple added a customization option in its new Series 5 watch in which you can change the look of your watch just by swapping out straps.
